True Realtime Search
Run a query and get back the top URLs and stories for that query right now. Queries can be specific phrases, like “obama”. It allows you to know about all the stories that are trending about this query.
Trending Topics
Search requires that you know what you’re looking for, but maybe you just want to see what the world is paying attention to. Our Trending Topics search returns the current phrases that are receiving a burst in attention beyond what we would expect. For example, “giant squid” is bursting today because of this story: Giant Squid Captured on Film. Trending Topics automatically aggregates multiple links about the things trending together, which you can see on the realtime story in the extension itself.
Hot Topics
Our Hot Topics search returns the phrases that have been receiving huge attention for a long time. For example, "Flash Mob" has been trending over a long period of time. Now, you won't miss any of the stories that trended on the Internet, and about which you were not aware.
Follow
You can receive most recent and trending updates about any topic by simply following that topic. You can follow multiple topics and can view the updates related to that topic in an aggregated manner in the newsfeed.
Google Chrome Sync and Settings
You can access your customized newsfeed consisting of various topics from any device by logging into Google Chrome. You can also clear your follow list or Logout from your bitly account at any point of time with just a click.
