Found a colorful image you enjoy? Paste the image URL into the Bub.ly extension and press the Bub.ly icon! Watch as your screen fills up with bubbles of various sizes and colors from the image.
HOW IT WORKS
Bub.ly counts all the pixels in an image and creates bubbles from those pixels. The bigger the bubble the more often that color appeared in the image. You will be able to visualize all the colors in an image and how frequent they appear with a quick glance at the Bub.ly bubbles!
EVERYONE CAN USE BUB.LY
Bub.ly has settings that allow low performance computers to also join in on the fun. It also has crazy settings for high performance computers (use at your own risk as it can freeze you browser)!
BUB.LY IS OPEN SOURCE
Bub.ly is currently at an early developmental stage. The speed of the program and the bubble size accuracy are still a work in progress but are going to continue to improve. This is a personal project but you are free to look at the source code and use any of the code you find for whatever you want, you have my personal permission.
