Homey is a personalized search result provider. It matches the best search engine for you while you travel, depending on your country and preferences.
Some engines support better localization and provide better results than others in each country.
For example:
Yahoo Japan in Japan.
Yandex in Russia, East Europe and Cyrillic speaking countries.
Go to the address bar then type '?', enter your query and get the most relevant search provider. To check the localization settings you can change the country of your of your browser (either by VPN or by an external product) and you'll see your search provider change.
Homey configures your Default Search in Chrome browser to provide these features, but don't worry you can disable it at anytime by going to chrome://extensions
