Some web sites (such as LinkedIn and Facebook) have technology enabled which stops the Cognisec Password Safe software from working. This is down to how these websites have been configured to accept passwords and usernames, and their interaction with website cookies.
To support the Cognisec Password Safe functionality, we have created a series of browser extensions (or "plugins") which enable Password Safe to work, we've called these the Application Helper.
Don't worry, the Application Helper software contains no personal information, nor does it store any personal information. It is purely there to facilitate a secure connection back to the Cognisec Password Safe database. The Application Helper is unable to access the Cognisec Password Safe database without you being logged into Workspace.
Aside from the Application Helper software itself, there is no additional data stored on your machine, so your corporate data stays where it should be.
