Organise your tabs in collections and save or restore them.
And: Search them! You can even search for terms contained in the tabs contents (and in your bookmarks as well)
If you are like me, you have lots and lots of tabs open. The new chrome grouping feature helps a lot to keep things organised, but now I have even more tabs open.
This extension let's you save all your currently open tabs, giving this set of tabs a name. Like, say, "holiday planing", "music", "news", "backup", "sites to revisit". And so on.
And then, you use those tabs to
- Open a tab's url, or open all tabs of a set
- Delete tabs you do not need any more
- Track new tabs and assign them to existing tabsets
- Give tabs custom names
- Drag and drop tabs into tabsets
- Search in Tabs: search all your tabs for keywords, even in the pages content
- Import and export as Json or even Bookmarks
Currently experimental features:
- Keep pinned and grouped tabsets
- Dark Mode
The data about your tabs is stored in your browsers local cache, so, for now, you can not synchronise this information across various browsers/computers.
The extensions source code is available at github.

Extore is a team of professionals who are passionate about creating extensions for web browsers. This devotion also gives us opportunity to appreciate work of other people. We get inspired by useful, open source extensions made by developers all over the world. Our strong belief is that one should share helpful add-ons with others. That’s why we’d like to present you our ever-growing list of favourite extensions that have inspired us. Moreover, as you probably have already learned, sometimes struggling for the best brings an end to the good. Talking about add-ons it often turns out that an upgrade is worse then previous version. Also it can become really tricky to get back to the beloved version of your favourite extension. That’s why we’re going to make not only the latest, but all versions of our favourite (and we hope yours too) add-ons available for download. No more compromises, just stick to the version you really like!
