Novel Notes is a sidebar Google Docs add-on that stays right by your side. It allows you to keep storyline ideas, a list of key events or any other notes you want to make about your manuscript and displays them where they are always at hand. There's no more need to trawl back through your work looking for key information you wrote into the text but forgotten.
The add-on also includes an area for keeping character biographies and photographs. Now when you are writing about a character and can't remember what age you made them, or hair colour they have you can simply look to Novel Notes for the answers.
As an additional feature, Novel Notes also includes a character name generator that will randomly produce over 50,000 name ideas.
