In 1999, he made a short appearance in the fantasy TV movie "Little Man Fish". In 2001, he starred in the independent film "Faithfulness." In 2002, he was nominated for the Best Actress of the Young Artist Award for starring in the suspenseful film "Treasure Space." In 2003, he participated in the thriller "Haunted House", which won the best new star nomination for the 14th Young Artist Award. In 2004, he starred in the crime comedy "Little Ghosts", which was the first time that Kristen Stewart was the protagonist; in the same year, he got more attention because of the protagonist "No More Silence." In 2005, he starred in the sci-fi adventure movie "The Game of the Brave 2: The Adventures of the Universe." In 2007, he participated in the adventure film "Wild Wild", which won the Best Supporting Actress Award and Best Newcomer Award for the 19th Young Artist Award. In 2008, he won the 18th MTV Movie Award for Best Actress Award for his fantasy love movie Twilight City.
