To use rRecon, simply install and it will subscribe to your reddit username. When a new comment is removed, a notification will appear, and the extension icon will display a number indicating the number of unseen removed comments. Clicking on the notification will show the removed comment.
Click search to perform a manual search. If any of your most recent 100 comments were removed by a mod, they will show up in the results, along with a tag indicating who removed them, either "mod" or "automod". Please note: this tag is not always correct.
This suite of tools is not guaranteed to find all removed comments since user history is limited to 1,000 comments in any category order (new/hot/top/controversial). Also, rRecon does not show user-removed comments or comments removed from private subreddits because those are not publicly available via the reddit API.
rRecon is developed independently and is not officially endorsed by or affiliated with reddit or pushshift. Enhancements will be added as they are developed.
Extore is a team of professionals who are passionate about creating extensions for web browsers. This devotion also gives us opportunity to appreciate work of other people. We get inspired by useful, open source extensions made by developers all over the world. Our strong belief is that one should share helpful add-ons with others. That’s why we’d like to present you our ever-growing list of favourite extensions that have inspired us. Moreover, as you probably have already learned, sometimes struggling for the best brings an end to the good. Talking about add-ons it often turns out that an upgrade is worse then previous version. Also it can become really tricky to get back to the beloved version of your favourite extension. That’s why we’re going to make not only the latest, but all versions of our favourite (and we hope yours too) add-ons available for download. No more compromises, just stick to the version you really like!
