Tabby is a new tab extension which provides a simple and beautiful UI for customizable links to your favorite sites. All icons locally in local storage (so use smallish ones) to cut down on network requests for every new tab. The backgrounds are pulled from Unsplash so you'll need an free Unsplash API key which you'll be prompted for when you first open a new tab after installing. Backgrounds URLs are cached for an hour to avoid excess API usage but you can manually refresh it when ever you'd like from the menu. Your link lists can also be exported or imported through the menu.

Also it can become really tricky to get back to the beloved version of your favourite extension. That’s why we’re going to make not only the latest, but all versions of our favourite (and we hope yours too) add-ons available for download. No more compromises, just stick to the version you really like!
