Soorya vanshi is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language action film directed by Rohit Shetty, written by Yunus Sajawal, Farhad Samji, Sanchit Bendre and Vidhi Ghodgadnkar based on an original story by Shetty, and produced by Shetty in association with Hiroo Yash Johar, Aruna Bhatia, Karan Johar and Apoorva Mehta under the Dharma Productions and Cape of Good Films.

Soorya vanshi was announced in December 2018 through post-credit scenes of Simmba.The first look posters featuring Akshay Kumar were unveiled in March 2019; unlike old entries in the series, Soorya vanshi isn't based on any existing work, but an original story.
Filming commenced on 6 May 2019 in Mumbai, before second schedule took place in Bangkok.The shooting wrapped up on 30 November 2019 in Hyderabad.
