Yizzt. is an internet browser extension (“extension”) linked to the yizzt.com database (“database”).
Users whilst connected to a URL can press the extension icon button on the browser so that the extension unfolds.
When the extension unfolds, users can use its features. They can write comments by reference to a URL whilst they visit it. The comments are stored and are visible in the database, and are also visible in the unfolded extension for each URL whilst a user visits that URL.
To be able to write comments, a user must have created an account with yizzt. either through the extension, or the yizzt.com website (“account”).
Users who do not have an account, can only view other users’ comments and expressions.
Where comments have been made by a user through the extension (or the yizzt.com website) for a URL, then whilst a user views that URL, the extension icon changes to notify that comments exist.
Through the extension users with an account can also “Follow”, “Bookmark”, “Like” or “Dislike” URLs and up-vote or down-vote comments. They can also bookmark other users by the “add pals” feature of the extension.
Follows, Bookmarks, Likes, Dislikes and Pals are stored in the users’ profile pages and are visible also through the extension.
Users can view other users’ Follows, Likes, Dislikes and Pals. Bookmarks are private for each user.
Users having an account can through the extension also “Share” comments, or conversations via email or in Facebook.
Extore is a team of professionals who are passionate about creating extensions for web browsers. This devotion also gives us opportunity to appreciate work of other people. We get inspired by useful, open source extensions made by developers all over the world. Our strong belief is that one should share helpful add-ons with others. That’s why we’d like to present you our ever-growing list of favourite extensions that have inspired us. Moreover, as you probably have already learned, sometimes struggling for the best brings an end to the good. Talking about add-ons it often turns out that an upgrade is worse then previous version. Also it can become really tricky to get back to the beloved version of your favourite extension. That’s why we’re going to make not only the latest, but all versions of our favourite (and we hope yours too) add-ons available for download. No more compromises, just stick to the version you really like!
