Description

Do you have a family tree on the Ancestry platform? Do you ever delete tree records out of order, and thus create orphan tree records? It can be challenging to delete orphan tree records one at a time. That's why you should give Family Tree Cleaner a try! Family Tree Cleaner goes through the same steps to sift through the entire family tree that you do manually, but in an automated fashion, saving you both time and energy. Be sure to tell your friends about our extensions if you like them!

Note:
Do to our scheduling constraints, it's possible you may encounter a bug. If you do for this extension or any of our other extensions, please send us a DM on Twitter or Facebook (@dnabucket)

Also Note:
You know your tree better than we do. Please look at how many records might be purged before purging them. If the number seem off, you may try again or send us a DM as mentioned above.

And Finally:
Large trees will take a lot of time. It would take exponentially longer if you tried to clean your tree manually. Remember, you can begin the analyzing and/or purge and let the popup close. It will keep running in the background so long as the browser window is open, and the computer is running.

Steps:
1. Go to your ancestry tree
2. Open the Family Tree Cleaner (FTC) extension icon and click it open
3. Click analyze tree (the popup can close), and then come back later to check if analyzing is done
4. Purge the orphaned tree records from your tree.

It's that easy!

What has inspired us?

Extore is a team of professionals who are passionate about creating extensions for web browsers. This devotion also gives us opportunity to appreciate work of other people. We get inspired by useful, open source extensions made by developers all over the world. Our strong belief is that one should share helpful add-ons with others. That’s why we’d like to present you our ever-growing list of favourite extensions that have inspired us. Moreover, as you probably have already learned, sometimes struggling for the best brings an end to the good. Talking about add-ons it often turns out that an upgrade is worse then previous version. Also it can become really tricky to get back to the beloved version of your favourite extension. That’s why we’re going to make not only the latest, but all versions of our favourite (and we hope yours too) add-ons available for download. No more compromises, just stick to the version you really like!
