This game is a variation of match-three games such as Bejeweled. Each level has a game board filled with differently colored candies, and might contain obstacles. The basic move of this game is horizontally or vertically swapping the positions of two adjacent candies, to create sets of three (or more) candies of the same color.

Candy Crush Saga is a very addictive match-3 puzzle game centered on switching and matching candy in combinations of three or more.
Developed by King.com, the authors of such games as Pet Rescue Saga, in this adventure you must travel through 25 episodes and more than 480 levels in a world replete with sweet candy. This addictive application is very simple and easy to play. If you are persistent, you can dominate just by playing in your spare time.
Candy Crush Saga tasks you with matching three or more similarly colored pieces of candy to make these virtual treats disappear, with the goal of reaching a specific high score to clear the stage, except the developers throw interesting wrinkles into the mix. Some boards, for instance, task players with clearing jelly cubes from the play field through matching, while others challenge them to somehow get special ingredients from the top of the screen to the bottom. Here's the catch: you only have a limited number of moves. Once those run out, it's game over.
