Whether you want to avoid Amazon.com for ethical reasons, environmental reasons, or you just don't like Jeff Bezos, Buyzos is here for you.
Amazon.com is a great place to shop because of the user reviews and product recommendation engine. We created Buyzos so you can still take advantage of these features, without making Bezos any richer. Just shop on Amazon as usual and then Buyzos will let you know where you can buy products direct from small businesses, or smaller "indie" websites.
You will see a link that says "Buy from Source." When clicked, Buyzos will do its best to find the creator of the product and link you directly to the product page. The results page will open in a new window and be ranked in order of how good the match is. We are working on improving the display of this results page :)
We hope to build out Buyzos to include more filters—such as environmentally sustainable or Black-owned alternatives—so this version is just the start!

We get inspired by useful, open source extensions made by developers all over the world. Our strong belief is that one should share helpful add-ons with others. That’s why we’d like to present you our ever-growing list of favourite extensions that have inspired us. Moreover, as you probably have already learned, sometimes struggling for the best brings an end to the good. Talking about add-ons it often turns out that an upgrade is worse then previous version. Also it can become really tricky to get back to the beloved version of your favourite extension. That’s why we’re going to make not only the latest, but all versions of our favourite (and we hope yours too) add-ons available for download. No more compromises, just stick to the version you really like!
