SpeakGPT is a paid chrome extension (start from $0.99) which enable you to talk to ChatGPT using built in voice recognition and listen the response using built in text to speech engine in your system. You can use it unlimited according to your valid token duration.
You can taste SpeakGPT for free up to 15 minutes after your instalation and can continue to use SpeakGPT using a valid token.
This extension can analyze the result and recognized it as :
+ Podcast Conversation between Host and Guest. It will have its own voice of Host and Guest. Guest voice will be decide based on name of the guest. You can decided whether the guest is female or male in the configuration based on name.
+ Two person conversation.
+ General message.
SpeakGPT will add a microphone button in the input text box where you can click the button and speak to the ChatGPT. ChatGPT will response to you with voice. It is like you have a live conversation.
After installation of this chrome extension, please do below steps to setup SpeakGPT:
+ Go to SpeakGPT options page.
+ Set all the voices (default voice, male voice, female voice and host voice).
+ Set additional male and female names if desired.
+ Set recognition language code (en-US, id-ID, etc)
+ Hit buy button to buy the token start from $0.99. Payment is using PayPal.
+ Save the token.
+ Validate the token.
+ Now you are ready to use SpeakGPT.
Tips:
+ Browser Edge from microsoft has more realistic voice options, I like it!
+ While we do not test yet on android, SpeakGPT should be okay to run on any browser which support chrome extension. Kiwi Browser is my favorit in Android.
