You’ve played hangman and most likely used Flash cards before haven’t you? Then this game combines the two concepts to create a fun and interactive way to increase your vocabulary and familiarize yourself, your children or your students with the most basic vocabulary for the 10 topics we have listed.

How to play

First choose a category then type the letter in the space you think is correct. The game automatically checks to see if what you chose is correct. As soon as you succeed in guessing the right word, the game progresses on to the next word on the list. There is a timer that keeps track of how fast you complete each list which is a great way to monitor your progress! Try to beat your personal best by doing a category over and over.

Benefits of Hangcards

Hangcards consists of 10 categories with 14 words in each category. The game is designed in such a way that whoever uses it will increase their vocabulary and spelling. On your second try for a given category the game forces you to remember the word and the image that was associated with it thereby increasing your memory and spelling.
