NotiFYI

Description

This chrome app is to work in tandem with the Tizen app NotiFYI.

NotiFYI allows you to see the notifications on your Tizen phone on the PC through Chrome Browser over home wifi network.

Setup steps:

1.Install this app on Chrome and install the NotiFYI app on your Tizen phone from Tizen Store and setup up the same password on both (Password should be between 3 to 20 characters)

2.Ensure that both PC and Tizen phone are on the same wifi network and there is proxy involved in the connection.

3.If you are using chrome on Windows you might need to follow additional steps as below to allow incoming UDP port to be unblocked for Chrome:

i.Goto Control Panel
ii.Click on 'Systm and Security'
iii.Under 'Windows Firewall' click 'Allow a program through Windows Firewall'
iv.Click 'Change Settings'
v.Click 'Add another program'
vi.Add Chrome(even if it already exists)
vii.Click 'Ok'

If you are on Mac and NotiFYI doesn't work you might need to follow similar steps as above for Mac to unblock ports for incoming UDP connections for chrome browser.

All your data in encrypted , so need to worry about someone snooping over your private data i.e your notifications.
