The extension detects if you are viewing Instagram photo or video and adds download button so you could download the photo/video easily. Click "Download" button to save any image or video to your device.

Before sending your claims to me or to Chrome Store Team please note that my extension doesn't violate any of existing rules, terms or conditions of Instagram or Facebook. In any official legal publication of Instagram Inc there is no any direct prohibition to facilitate download of any public content from Instagram.
According to Section "III. How is this information shared?" from https://help.instagram.com/519522125107875 downloading public information by third-party applications is NOT prohibited. Please see it below:
"You, other people using Facebook and Instagram, and we can provide access to or send public information to anyone on or off our Products, including in other Facebook Company Products, in search results, or through tools and APIs. Public information can also be seen, accessed, reshared or downloaded through third-party services such as search engines, APIs, and offline media such as TV, and by apps, websites and other services that integrate with our Products."
As for "Instagram" word in name of our extension.
We strictly follow all recommendations listed by Instagram Inc. in their Instagram Brand Resources here https://en.facebookbrand.com/instagram/assets/instagram?audience=instagram-landing
Which means "If you offer an app, website or a product or service that uses the Instagram APIs or is otherwise compatible with or related to Instagram, you may only use Instagram to say that your app is "for Instagram" or that the name of your campaign is "on Instagram" in a descriptive manner."
