CC used to be a slave to a European country, and signed a contract with a nun with code capability (the content of the contract is: let yourself die, the code is inherited by a person with geass), and got the geass ability. Her ability is to get the love of others. (being loved). Because of the excessive use of power, C.C. was overwhelmed by love and couldn’t tell what was true love. And because geass is not valid for people who have code, C.C. thinks that only the nuns give her true love. Later, C.C learned that the nun had deceived her to use her. The crazy nun asked C.C. to kill her. [3]
After the nun’s death, the previous contract was reached. C.C. acquired the code capability, lost the geass ability, and became the next generation code holder. The CODE Order's founding leader (the sect is to study Geass's team, hidden underground) until he becomes the contractor of Mariana, Mao, and Lelouch.
