ELERTS EVENT ALERT app provides organizations with a tool that allows people in a school or facility to quickly share security concerns. Shared situation awareness can lead to better outcomes in an emergency. Security concerns may include Gun seen, Threat overheard, Shot or Explosion heard, etc.
Lockdown, Shelter In Place or Evacuate
Authority users of the EVENT ALERT app can quickly initiate a Lockdown, Shelter In Place or Evacuation. Other users of the app will be notified of the Alert and the reason for the Alert.
Chat
Users are able to chat with each other about security concerns. A map is sent along with the message indicating where the message originated from. Chat supports sending and receiving text, photos and videos. Note: Chrome users can only receive photos and videos, not send them.
ELERTS EPICenter
Administrators or security staff can authorize which people ale to use the ELERTS EVENT ALERT app for their organization. User management is performed by using the ELERTS EPICenter console.
