Internet political action, on steroids! Out of Site is a Chrome extension that modifies your Web experience based on your values.

Out of Site goes beyond signature campaigns and lists of “banned companies”. It allows you to join action campaigns that will change what you see online. Don’t like animal testing? You can join an Out of Site campaign that hides all animal-tested products on Amazon. Do you support the #metoo movement? You can join an Out of Site campaign that omits from Google Search results all information from companies listed by GrabYourWallet (and blocks all these companies’ websites as well). You select the campaigns in which you want to participate.

We are working on adding customizable features to Out of Site such as choosing specific companies from the campaign lists, adjusting the level of the extension’s intervention and even creating your own campaigns!

Out of Site is currently in early beta and is a research study conducted by researchers at Northwestern University (IRB: STU00207019).
