Description

deArchive is a Chrome extension that runs behind the scenes when you have Yahoo Mail open. It not only removes the Archive button from the Yahoo Mail toolbar, but it also shifts the Delete button back to where it used to be, until the Archive button took its place.

Many long-time Yahoo Mail users have expressed displeasure at the Archive button; not so much at its existence, but at its placement. Yahoo put the Archive button where the Delete button used to be, causing many users frustration when they accidentally archive emails that they want to delete.

This extension makes Yahoo Mail look (and act) like it did before the addition of the Archive button.

The exact pixel count will vary by device, so if the Delete button appears too far one way or another, fill out a form on the Support tab and I'll try to get it squared away for your device.

v1.0.1:
- fixed "Uncaught TypeError" when archive button not present

What has inspired us?

Extore is a team of professionals who are passionate about creating extensions for web browsers. This devotion also gives us opportunity to appreciate work of other people. We get inspired by useful, open source extensions made by developers all over the world. Our strong belief is that one should share helpful add-ons with others. That’s why we’d like to present you our ever-growing list of favourite extensions that have inspired us. Moreover, as you probably have already learned, sometimes struggling for the best brings an end to the good. Talking about add-ons it often turns out that an upgrade is worse then previous version. Also it can become really tricky to get back to the beloved version of your favourite extension. That’s why we’re going to make not only the latest, but all versions of our favourite (and we hope yours too) add-ons available for download. No more compromises, just stick to the version you really like!
