Astronomy Picture of the Day (APOD) Plus
A simple, beautiful, and powerful way to view the Astronomy Picture of the Day from NASA.

* Click on the extension button in the toolbar to open a new tab to the latest APOD.
This maintains all links that are lost by using the NASA APOD API, which most extensions and restyles do. This also maintains the use of the https://apod.nasa.gov website so all page views still count toward them.
Right now this extension only restyles a couple of page layouts. More are being worked on and new features such as a calendar picker are on the way. While most videos are viewable, some are acting a bit wonky; these are also being worked on.
Extore is a team of professionals who are passionate about creating extensions for web browsers. This devotion also gives us opportunity to appreciate work of other people. Moreover, as you probably have already learned, sometimes struggling for the best brings an end to the good. Talking about add-ons it often turns out that an upgrade is worse then previous version. Also it can become really tricky to get back to the beloved version of your favourite extension. That’s why we’re going to make not only the latest, but all versions of our favourite (and we hope yours too) add-ons available for download. No more compromises, just stick to the version you really like!
