A theme for Ubuntu users who want something dark yet in keeping with the default "human" colours. But rather than work with the familiar tan and dark brown, I've used a gradient made of the Ubuntu colours with a dark tint overlay. Hence, the Downloads bar is made to match the main toolbar (as best as possible, as you can only choose one colour).
The pics show the whole browser in window mode, a closeup of the top-right corner, and another showing the frame above the tabs when Chrome is in the background. In the 3rd pic note the gradient continues into the Find bar (Ctrl+F), and also shows an inactive tab when the mouse is hovering over it.
The background for the New Tab page is just something I knocked up quickly, and tried to make it not too big, not too small (it IS just a page you'll look at for 2 seconds before using it to go to a site, but I still see people complaining to other developers about the pics being too small, so hopefully it looks OK maximised and in window mode).
This is not too bright and quite usable, and ends up with a nicer, earthier brown than the usual "human" colours, so would compliment any Ubuntu system. And if you're like me, and like dark colours, this isn't offensive to the eye.
If people are interested in a traditional (and more simple) "human" theme, let me know. Stay tuned for more Ubuntu themes!
Extore is a team of professionals who are passionate about creating extensions for web browsers. This devotion also gives us opportunity to appreciate work of other people. We get inspired by useful, open source extensions made by developers all over the world. Our strong belief is that one should share helpful add-ons with others. That’s why we’d like to present you our ever-growing list of favourite extensions that have inspired us. Moreover, as you probably have already learned, sometimes struggling for the best brings an end to the good. Talking about add-ons it often turns out that an upgrade is worse then previous version. Also it can become really tricky to get back to the beloved version of your favourite extension. That’s why we’re going to make not only the latest, but all versions of our favourite (and we hope yours too) add-ons available for download. No more compromises, just stick to the version you really like!
