Donald Trump's primary means of communicating with the public is Twitter. Unfortunately, his tweets aren't always entirely accurate, by mistake or by design.
The Washington Post's Fix team has created this extension to add more context or corrections to things that Trump tweets.
ABOUT THE PERMISSIONS
The extension asks for permission to manage your downloads because it loads a remote file for updates on Trump's tweets. It asks for your history because, thanks to how Twitter loads tweets from a timeline, it needs to track activity within a Twitter tab. It only tracks tabs that hold Trump tweets.
