Developers often want to send Gitlab Pull Request links to each other. If they're sending it in Slack or any other Markdown enabled text, they'll usually send it in Markdown link format, like:
[ <link description> ]( <link> ).
This will create a clickable link, with the link text being <link description>. This can take some time to type out, so when you click this extension, it automatically creates the text and copies it to your clipboard.
