This is a silent chrome extension that will force all YouTube videos selected on their site to default to HD quality. Currently the default action on YouTube is standard definition and users are forced to manually increase the quality if they wish to view in HD. This extension works on all videos that support HD quality. For issues or enhancement requests leave me feed back in the reviews section or send me an email. The idea was to keep this as a simple extension with no user interaction that all could benefit from.
After installing this app you will see no difference to chrome and the extension requires no user interaction. Next time you browse to a YouTube video it will launch normally except with the HD quality selected by default. If for any reason you choose to lower the quality just click quality button and lower quality as you normally would.
