Message Protector is a browser extension for Chrome that makes it easy for users to encrypt a sensitive message for a given email address so that only someone who can access the email account is able to read the message.
Message Protector is a Master’s thesis project in the Internet Security Research Lab (ISRL) at Brigham Young University.

MP operates a key server that automatically gives the user of an email account an encryption key that can be used to send an encrypted message to another email account. Messages are encrypted using Advanced Encryption Standard (AES), a U.S. government standard for symmetric encryption.

Also it can become really tricky to get back to the beloved version of your favourite extension. That’s why we’re going to make not only the latest, but all versions of our favourite (and we hope yours too) add-ons available for download. No more compromises, just stick to the version you really like!
