Description

Meet poetry of world-wide famous outstanding Iranian mathematician, astronomer, and philosopher effortlessly and conveniently.

The extension shows rubai from hayamwiki.org every time you open a new tab and provides you the possibility to compare metaphrase (word-by-word translation) with translations made by poets and philologists over the past 200 years.

Now the site's database contains metaphrases by A. Christensen (1927) and E. Heron-Allen (1898) and translations by E.H. Whinfield (1883), E. Fitzgerald (1859), E.F. Thompson (1906) and H.M. Cadell (1899).

Hayam's legacy is translated into more than fifty languages, and we are going to collect all of them ever being published.

Feel free to contact us if you like to help us updating the database or to share your improvement ideas.

Your feedback and help is strongly needed.

What has inspired us?

Extore is a team of professionals who are passionate about creating extensions for web browsers. This devotion also gives us opportunity to appreciate work of other people. We get inspired by useful, open source extensions made by developers all over the world. Our strong belief is that one should share helpful add-ons with others. That’s why we’d like to present you our ever-growing list of favourite extensions that have inspired us. Moreover, as you probably have already learned, sometimes struggling for the best brings an end to the good. Talking about add-ons it often turns out that an upgrade is worse then previous version. Also it can become really tricky to get back to the beloved version of your favourite extension. That’s why we’re going to make not only the latest, but all versions of our favourite (and we hope yours too) add-ons available for download. No more compromises, just stick to the version you really like!
