For self hosted instances with custom urls use https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/ambmbdjjhloinbjadfgfmenihmfmahmk. Version should match, but is usually delayed on an update because the review takes longer since this extension requires permissions on all urls.
Currently only shows the kanban menu button in most remote urls and gitea.com shows a kanban for repos with internally maintained issues.
