This free app can be helpful if you have to work in noisy environments.

So, how does it work? Simply put, some people find that white noise nicely covers up irritating or distracting sounds like an annoying neighbor's stereo, your parents yakking, or the even the loud city traffic outside.

It doesn't work for everyone, but it's free, so why not give it a try?

A tip: don't turn the volume up too loud! Try making it barely loud enough to cover the sounds that are annoying.

If you're like most people, the white noise will just seem loud and distracting at first. That's normal. But try sticking with it for a few minutes.

Try to ignore the noise. Concentrate on your work.

If you give it enough time you may find that your brain tunes out the white noise and it's harder to hear the annoying sounds, too!

Please use this app responsibly. As with any audio source, it is your responsibility to make sure you can still hear important sounds (such as fire alarms). Likewise, you should not listen to it while sleeping.
