If you like me stack with german genders, this extension is for you, my friend!
This extension gets german gender words (der, die, das) and word meanings with use cases and examples with one click on any website and even e-mail, like Gmail. To use it:
1. Highlight a word or a part of a word,
2. Click shortcut. The information source is Duden dictionary.
On the screenshot you'll see the popup with options you open with a click on the extension's icon in the Chrome extension bar on the top right. The options are:
- Get only german gender (der, die, das)
- Get only word meanings with examples
- Get both
Extension sets shortcuts by itself, and in most cases this is enough:
- "windows": "Alt+X",
- "mac": "Command+Shift+X",
- "chromeos": "Ctrl+Shift+X",
- "linux": "Ctrl+Shift+X"
But if you want setup another shortcut, feel free to do this and change shortcut setting at chrome://extensions/shortcuts
