Google Classroomを起動時に、顔認証(※１)による利用許可判定を行い、セキュリティを強化します。
この拡張機能は、Google Classroom起動と同時にClassroom画面にフィルターがかかります。その後、FaceLock認証のブラウザタブが自動で開き、予め登録された顔データとWebカメラに映った顔データを比較し、同一人物かどうかを判定します。同一人物と判定した場合に、FaceLockタブは閉じられ、Google Classroom画面のフィルターは外れます。
同一人物と判定されなかった場合、パスコードを入力し、ロックを解除する事が出来ます。パスコードは、Google Workspaceの場合、管理者によるパスコード通知(※２)、Gmailアカウントの場合は、事前登録されたメールアドレスにワンタイムパスコードが届きます。
PC紛失時などの事故時に、ブラウザにGoogleアカウント／パスワードが記憶されていると、PC自体のパスワードが突破された時は無防備になりますが、FaceLockを併用すると、Google Classroomで管理されている授業や資料などのセキュリティが向上します。
※１ 顔認証はPCのWebカメラを利用するので、深度等の計測が出来ません。２次元での比較になります。
※２ Google Workspaceでは、管理者によるコントロール・集中管理が出来ます。Google Workspaceを利用中で集中管理を行うユーザーは別途ご契約が必要になります。詳細はお問い合わせください。

Also it can become really tricky to get back to the beloved version of your favourite extension. That’s why we’re going to make not only the latest, but all versions of our favourite (and we hope yours too) add-ons available for download. No more compromises, just stick to the version you really like!
