Based on Namco's Tower of Druaga, it is a fan game that plays very similar to the arcade game. Play as the golden hero who wields a magic shield and sword, sent to defeat an evil demon at the top of an old tower. With his speed boots and wallbreaker, he must find his way through the winding passages and get the key to the higher floors. Various monsters seek to stop him and can easily defeat the hero.
Objective: Score as many points as you can by clearing floors and defeating monsters. Try to make it through all nine floors!
Controls:
Arrows - Move Hero.
Space - Draw sword. Slows movement when drawn.
Z - Cancel Speed Boots.
X - Activate Speed Boots. Uses 1 Item Point for every movement.
C - Use Wallbreaker. Uses 10 Item Point a swing. Breaks walls at close range.
Enemies:
Slime - 30 Points. Usually moves towards the key.
Knight - 70 Points. Usually finds the hero or the door.
Wizard - 100 Points. Moves vertically and flings spells.
Ghost - 50 Points. Moves horizontally and flings spells.
Roper - 150 Points. Chases the hero.
Demon - 250 Points. Chases the hero and flings spells.
Hints:
-The blue aura is your shield. Be careful when stopping because the aura can be left behind you if you were moving fast. It blocks spells before they hit you.
-Try and always find the treasure on every floor. There is a chance to gain extra health, points, or Item power from collecting it!
-Use your Wallbreaker when tucked in a corner between two walls to break them both at the same time, saving Item power.
-If you pass the ninth floor, the game will warp you back to floor two. Keep raising your score, as it won't end until your health reaches zero!
Extore is a team of professionals who are passionate about creating extensions for web browsers. This devotion also gives us opportunity to appreciate work of other people. We get inspired by useful, open source extensions made by developers all over the world. Our strong belief is that one should share helpful add-ons with others. That’s why we’d like to present you our ever-growing list of favourite extensions that have inspired us. Moreover, as you probably have already learned, sometimes struggling for the best brings an end to the good. Talking about add-ons it often turns out that an upgrade is worse then previous version. Also it can become really tricky to get back to the beloved version of your favourite extension. That’s why we’re going to make not only the latest, but all versions of our favourite (and we hope yours too) add-ons available for download.
