The AthenaSocial Chrome Extension allows you to access data from the platform without the need to launch the application (as long as you are logged in). It delivers the following functions:
a) Search Connection: You can view your connections by selecting text and invoking the search via right-click or the 'A' icon.
b) Add Connection: You can add the identified contact to your own connections.
c) Message Contact: You can send a message to the user, requesting for a connection
d) Download your data: You can automate certain aspects of the download process from your social networks- only with your explicit permission
Just so you are fully comfortable, we promise that we will never invoke any search without your consent (no proactive checking).
We do not store any content from the websites that you browse. We do not make any changes to the website that you see, in terms of content and display. Our role is restricted to providing a search option (search using Athena) and by helping you automate certain downloads from social networks.
