Habit Streak is a very basic desktop extension to help form a habit. Click the big button in the middle every day you have completed your task. The big button oscillates in the middle of the screen. When not pressed, the red button pulses more and more angrily as midnight approaches. When pressed, the button turns green and oscillates serenely. After midnight, the button is permanently logged, whether green or red, on the left side.
There's also a music button in the corner that opens a random instrumental youtube video, spotify artist, or spotify playlist in a new tab. This might help you focus to complete your task. Genres include acoustic, electronic, video game OSTs, and film scores.
If you want this screen to also overwrite your start page, go to settings->"On Start-up"->"Open a specific page or set of pages. Set pages"-> type in "chrome://newtab/" and hit "ok".
