YOOOO I'm a student in uni so I'll be taking a small break (one year at most) from maintaining this extension -- I gotta focus on the degree + I need to step away from the porn space for some peace hahahaha
If I do find some time and I have ideas, I'll try to add them into the app for sure.

* THIS APP IS STILL IN DEVELOPMENT
PorNo!'s porn site detection algorithm is still being improved. Therefore, not all porn/adult sites will be blocked by PorNo!, yet. More sites and improvements to the algorithm are added with every update, but keep this in mind if you are considering on using PorNo! for other purposes (a porn blocker on a child's computer, for example).
* THIS APP DOES COLLECT DATA
One component of the algorithm is to screen "sketchy" sites for adult material, should the user visit any. If a site is found to be adult in nature, ONLY THE SITE'S DOMAIN NAME IS COLLECTED AND SAVED TO PorNo!. No associated information (name of user, time of access, date, etc) is saved. ONLY the domain name of the site.
In essence, if PorNo! was ever hacked, the only person who would be in trouble is me. You have nothing to worry about, besides my personal welfare, regarding this app's security. If this is still unacceptable to you but you wish to use PorNo!, please email me with the subject "PorNo! security".
* PorNo! NEEDS MORE WEBSITES IN ITS DATABASE
The websites currently saved in PorNo! are the ones found in the USA, where I live and develop. Instructions for contributing ARE AT THE BOTTOM...assistance on globalizing PorNo! for more languages and countries will be greatly appreciated!

PorNo! is a medium through which users can make overcoming porn addiction and porn use easier. For one to truly overcome porn addiction and use, it depends heavily on the person's own commitment, determination, and perseverance. Welcome to PorNo!, an attempt at creating the last porn blocker anyone will ever need (we still have much to do, though!).
PorNo! is, by default, a porn-blocker, but with a twist: Instead of being greeted by a standard "Site Blocked" page, PorNo! will redirect users to sites that inspire and empower the user when s/he visits a porn site.
Inside a porn user's mind are many connections and pathways that have associated pleasure with porn. By redirecting users, PorNo! attempts to rewire these connections to associate pleasure with more wholesome and joyful content, overwriting the influences porn has left behind.
The idea is to convert unwanted sexual/pornographic dependencies into personal, meaningful energies, energy now used in wholesome and forward-moving outlets.

To use PorNo!, install the extension and click the yellow heart in your browser. Add links to sites that inspire you, empower you, encourage you to do great things, to do your best....etc. Sites, articles, videos, music, add whatever! Included inside the popup are resources for support, instructions to use the app fully. To access the instructions, simply click on "How to use PorNo!" at the bottom of the popup. Instructions for anonymous use are also included on the how-to page.

As PorNo! is still begin developed, it will help all of us greatly if you email me ([email protected]) all the porn sites you know exist as well as any sites that aren't blocked by PorNo!. I've included a number of sites in PorNo!, but not every site out there. Your help will make it easier for all of PorNo!'s users to make efforts in overcoming porn. Thank you!
