Snowflake, also known as silver millet, jade dragon, jade dust, is a kind of crystal, which is the solid precipitation of water vapor in the sky. The structure changes with temperature, and it is mostly hexagonal like a flower.
There are so many shapes of snowflakes, and each piece of snow is an extremely beautiful pattern that many artists admire. Snowflakes are mostly hexagonal, because snowflakes belong to the hexagonal system. The small ice crystals of the "embryo" of snowflakes in the cloud have two main shapes. One is hexagonal, long and thin, called columnar crystal, but sometimes its ends are pointed, like a needle, called needle crystal. The other is a hexagonal flaky shape, like a thin slice cut from a hexagonal pencil.
