The background of this work is set in a world-class "tree scorpion" full of supernatural powers. The main characters are four girls with their own special abilities (external imagery) and weapons: one is a young hero, one is a noble heiress, one is a lost ranger, and the other is a party girl. They gathered for various reasons to form the "RWBY" squad and received training, dedicated to fighting the evil forces of arrogance. Prior to this, humans launched a war against the beasts in order to survive, until they found that "dust crystals" could be used as a source of magic, which allowed humans to fight against them and establish a civilized world.
