There are also many huge canyons on the main stream of the Yellow River, such as Liujiaxia, Heishan Gorge and Qingtongxia. It is the ideal dam site for the construction of the reservoir dam. After the liberation of China, many large dams have been built in many canyons to comprehensively develop and utilize water resources.
