Aston Martin Motors is based in Gayton, England, which produces convertible wagons, racing cars and limited edition sports cars. Aston Martin was founded in March 1913 by founders Leonel Martin and Robert Ban.
In 1987, it was acquired by Ford of the United States. In 2007, Prodrive owner David Richards purchased the Aston Martin brand from Ford for $925 million. In 1994, Aston Martin became a wholly-owned subsidiary of Ford Motor Company. In addition to providing financial security, Ford also provides a full range of Ford's technology, manufacturing and supply systems around the world, as well as supporting the design and development of new products, revitalizing the jewels of this luxury sports car.
