Since there is not yet a "mute" feature in the web chat, I created this extension.
To mute a user, select their full username in the chat window, right-click the selected name, and click "Mute" in the context window. The selected username will be added to a block list and new messages from this user will show up as a thin grey line in the chat feed.
To remove a blocked user, click the extension icon for Bear Silencer and untick the checkbox next to the user you wish to unblock. You can view previously blocked messages from this user by refreshing the chat feed window.
