A fascinating story about the ordinary Japanese student Kaneki, who lived in the ordinary world without suspecting the existence of any ghouls. After getting acquainted with the cute girl Rize, he learns how cruel this world is, after all after a date she tried to eat it. Being on the verge of life and death, he miraculously manages to avoid death. But in order to survive, he transplanted the organs of the same Rize, who was one of the strongest ghouls.
As a result, Kaneki becomes a half-ghoul and remains a half-human. Hence, all his further problems follow, for he can now feed only on people. Gloomy and bloody anime with good fighting, also not devoid of philosophical questions about what is good and what is evil.
