E-Foundry is an online learning resource in casting design and simulation, developed by IIT Bombay and supported by the National Knowledge Mission. Engineering students, teachers and industry professionals can use the resources to update their knowledge and try out computer simulation.
The following resources are available:
1. Lesson videos, in five parts: introduction, science, engineering, technology, and application.
2. Online simulation lab, which accepts a 3D CAD model and generates solidification images.
3. Reference material, including paper abstracts, industrial case studies, casting videos, and web links.
4. Quizzes and Tutorial with answers for self-evaluation.
5. Discussion Hub
