Description

CryptoHelm is your web3 companion and protector

It will help you both better understand the security of a crypto dapp while also understanding how it is built and used by other users. It’s meant as a tool for crypto enthusiasts as well a security researchers to find unverified contracts used by dapps.

Original Features

=> Scans source code of the dapp to detect “0x” smart contract addresses and see if their smart contracts are verified on more than 10 chains (Ethereum, Polygon, Optimism, Arbitrum, Celo, Avalanche, Fantom, Moonbeam, BSC, Gnosis Chain). It will then classify those addresses into tokens, NFTs, verified contracts, unverified contracts, non contracts etc..

=> Shows you the defillama stats including : TVL, FDV Market cap and if audits were made for this project.

=> Explore page, discover and never have to look again for which product to use

Features in common with other web3 antivirus extensions

=> Anti-Phishing

=> Checks your chrome extension wallets are up to date (Metamask and Frame Companion)

=> Code is open source : https://github.com/hugoroussel/cryptohelm/

Features not supported (check Pocket Universe for NFT tx simulation)

=> No transaction simulation

=> No transaction analysis

Other important information :

=> False positives are possible (proxy contracts & precompiles)
=> We DO NOT collect your wallet address
=> We DO NOT & CANNOT initiate/verify transactions for you

Feedback :

Shoot us a message at @getcryptohelm on Twitter.

DISCLAIMER :

A Dapp creator can easily hide contract addresses from the source code of the website via different techniques of code obfuscation among others. A “verified” contract only means that is code is open source not that it’s not malicious.

What has inspired us?

Extore is a team of professionals who are passionate about creating extensions for web browsers. This devotion also gives us opportunity to appreciate work of other people. We get inspired by useful, open source extensions made by developers all over the world. Our strong belief is that one should share helpful add-ons with others. That’s why we’d like to present you our ever-growing list of favourite extensions that have inspired us. Moreover, as you probably have already learned, sometimes struggling for the best brings an end to the good. Talking about add-ons it often turns out that an upgrade is worse then previous version. Also it can become really tricky to get back to the beloved version of your favourite extension. That’s why we’re going to make not only the latest, but all versions of our favourite (and we hope yours too) add-ons available for download. No more compromises, just stick to the version you really like!
