Some pages can be slow or blocked completely at many locations around the world. There are many solutions to this problem, such as goAgent, SSH tunnel, Proxy SwitchySharp, Http / socks proxy server, but we feel those solutions are not convenient enough, require frequent switching or take time to configure and manage them. Red Apricot was built for internet professionals providing them an easy to use and fast, global and no limitations Internet connection. Red Apricot offer an advanced Filters mode which enable to define which pages you want to visit via the secure connection and which using your normal connection. To do this you just need to add the pages to the filter and those will be automatically loaded via Red Apricot.

Red Apricot use an encrypted connection between your browser and the servers of the page you are visiting. When you access HTTPS sites the content is encrypted by the servers you are visiting and by the servers of Red Apricot too . This way no one can see the content you are transferring, it is super safe. That is why also online payment providers always use HTTPS to protect your credit card details.When you access HTTP sites, Red Apricot is theoretically able to see the content you are browsing, but without using our services not only Red Apricot could have your information but anyone such as your internet privider or people sharing the same wifi with you. So no matter what you do HTTP is not so safe. Try to use pages with HTTPS connection all the time.
