Activation Notification notifies a Slack channel when a new code version on a Commerce Cloud development or staging instance is activated by the user with this extension installed. The extension allows the user to map the client section in the hostname of a SFCC instance. To use the extension with your Slack account, you must create a Slack app by following the info at https://api.slack.com/slack-apps. The Slack app will need to be given the following scopes -- channels:read, chat:write:bot. Once this is done, be sure to install your Slack app to your workspace and obtain the workspace token which is needed for configuring this extension.
