Listen to the sounds of rain as you work. Easy to turn on/off and customize.
Why did I make this?
- I love the sound of rain.
- It makes me feel cozy and relaxed.
- It helps me focus on my work by tuning out distracting, ambient noise.
Other existing services use one huge audio file to provide "endless" thunderstorm sounds. I find that a waste as we can accomplish the same by looping a relatively small portion of rain audio. Add clever variations* to this one audio track such as:
- varying the playback rate
- slowly increasing and decreasing the volume ever so slightly
- overlaying audio clips of thunder and other additional sounds
and all of a sudden we have a unique ambiance for our ears. Allow these settings to be adjusted to suite the users' taste (yours), and we end up with an ever-changing, dynamic auditory environment!
