CamStudio is a free computer program for recording what is happening on a computer screen into an AVI or SWF file (flash) along with sound. It can be used to create video tutorials on the use of a particular program or to create video presentations.
In the CamStudio settings, you can set the screen area from which the recording will occur, hide and show the cursor, edit the audio and video parameters, as well as adjust a large number of other parameters. The quality of the CamStudio recording depends on the audio and video codecs installed in the system.
