Дома́шняя канаре́йка — подвид канарского канареечного вьюрка с Канарских островов (Serinus canaria). Канарский канареечный вьюрок населяет атлантические архипелаги Канарских островов и Азорских островов, а также остров Мадейра. Он питается, прежде всего, семенами и частями растений, а в период гнездования также насекомыми. В течение более чем 500 лет человек приручил эту певчую птицу, сделав домашним животным. Канарейка — это единственное домашнее животное, у которого изменился голосовой аппарат, и тем самым его пение. Это пение сделало канарейку известной, особенно породу гарцский роллер.
